The Atlanta Falcons announced Tuesday the signing of running back Craig Reynolds to their practice squad.

Reynolds, 23, signed with the Washington Redskins as an undrafted running back out of Kutztown University, where he set numerous school records. Reynolds played in three games for the Redskins this season in a special teams role.

The Falcons' running back depth has taken a hit this season. Second-year back Ito Smith was placed on injured reserve prior to Atlanta's win against New Orleans, and starter Devonta Freeman sustained a foot injury against the Saints that could reportedly cost him a couple of weeks.
