FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. – The Atlanta Falcons announced Wednesday that they have agreed to terms with Jamon Brown, addressing a priority area for the team.

Brown, 25, was the starting right guard in each of the eight games he played last season for the New York Giants. The Giants acquired Brown midway through the season off of waivers after the Los Angeles Rams placed him on injured reserve and later released him.
According to Zach Klein of WSB-TV, Brown agreed to a three-year deal with the Falcons.
A third-round draft pick out of Louisville by the then St. Louis Rams in 2015, Brown started 30 of the 42 games he played for the team and was primarily used as a guard. Brown, who is listed as 6-foot-4 and 340 pounds, was a starter for the Rams' NFL-best scoring offense in 2017, which averaged nearly 30 points and 362 yards per game.
The guard position was a troublesome one for the Falcons in 2018 after starters Andy Levitre and Brandon Fusco went down early with season-ending injuries. With Levitre now a free agent, Brown figures to factor into the training camp battles that will take place at the position.
The Atlanta Falcons have agreed to terms with G Jamon Brown who was drafted by the Rams in 2015 and was most recently with the Giants.
